Field personnel and focal persons of the Enhanced National Greening Program (eNGP) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) must fully understand the scientific methods and basic requirements of producing quality planting materials from quality seed sources in their respective areas of jurisdiction.

DENR 6 Assistant Regional Director for Special Concerns, Forester Ivene D. Reyes, graced the opening activity and underscored the importance of the training, especially on the improvement of seed sources and production to support DENR’s flagship program, the NGP.
Researchers and technical staff of CRERDEC, Foresters Carlito R. Buante, Jose Layese, and Bruno Carreon together with Marcia Florenda G. Polo served as resource speakers for the 2-day training.
