Description This project shall study the various rehabilitation strategies to restore soil nutrients and increase crop productivity of cogon lands and other degraded areas to help uplift the economic condition of farmers in the uplands. Rehabilitation strategies shall include planting of trees and cover crops treated without and with fungi such as mycorrhiza to help source out nutrients and enhance plant growth and development. Mycorrhiza is known to enhance growth of plants in degraded and nutrient deficient soil.
