DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assists  in  formulating the research program and directing research activities of the unit where he/she is assigned;
  2. Advises and assists research scientists in planning and implementing related research work;
  3. Reviews and approves study plans and reports prepared by the project staff of his/her unit;
  4. Assesses and evaluates the activities and progress being made on the research project of his/her unit;
  5. Assists in planning and executing development programs pertaining to his/her unit;
  6. Reviews technical side of all manuscripts prepared at the Division for publication;
  7. Prepares and submits articles for publication; and
  8. Performs other duties the superior may assign.
